Anthony Eyles

Head of Chemistry

Anthony is head of chemistry at Kudos Blends, where his in-depth technical knowledge of leavening chemistry and strong problem-solving abilities make him a valuable asset to customers and colleagues alike.

Prior to joining Kudos, Anthony achieved a first-class master’s degree in chemistry from the University of York. He spent his final year in research, focusing on catalysis and co-authored an academic paper published in the Journal of the American Chemical Society (JACS). He continues to stay up-to-date with the latest industry advancements and enjoys expanding his knowledge base through diverse projects.

Since joining in 2020, his achievements have included the development of new baking powder formulations, overseeing patent applications, enhancing methods for quality control and raw material testing, and successfully handling intricate projects. Anthony manages our team of in-house chemists who work closely with the bakery team to encourage continuous development.

Outside of his professional endeavours, Anthony has a deep-rooted passion for sports, including football, American football, cricket, golf and many others. He also enjoys travelling and experiencing new destinations whenever possible.
