Kudos Blends recently welcomed an auditor for our annual BRCGS assessment. After rigorous examination and analysis, covering a wide range of compliance categories across departments, we are delighted to announce that we have maintained the highest achievable result for the 9th year in a row. Another AA certification for 2024!
But why is BRCGS so important? For manufacturers, adherence to Brand Reputation Compliance Global Standards, or BRCGS, is required for legal and regulatory conformity; ensuring the production of safe, high-quality food products that foster trust in the food supply chain. For nearly 30 years, BRCGS has been one of the most widely accepted global food safety standards, adopted by over 22,000 sites worldwide. After becoming the first standard to be benchmarked by the Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI), it has been endorsed by (and is often required by) many major retailers and manufacturers.
We are immensely proud of maintaining our AA standard, which reflects the dedication and hard work of our entire team. Senior Quality Coordinator Nikki Weaver said of the audit: ‘We have been working hard to embed a strong food safety and quality culture within our team and it was wonderful to see all of the team’s hard work and knowledge shining through’.
