Ryan Roberts

Ryan achieved a first class master’s degree in biochemistry in 2019. Until July 2024, he operated as a part of the team at Kudos Blends working as a laboratory chemist. His background in both biology and chemistry has made him an invaluable resource in navigating the constantly evolving health-related legislative changes. He continues to actively foster the understanding of the impact of our products both inside the laboratory as well as regarding consumer health.

During his tenure, Ryan has spent over three months as part of the quality team, represented the technical team as their health and safety champion, and has been trained as an internal auditor. His breadth of experience ensures that the well-being of colleagues and consumers is always paramount. As part of his commitment to these standards, has also overseen the development of novel quality control methodologies for newly procured raw materials. Ryan now works for Kudos Blends as a Technical Product Manager and frequently liaises with the bakery, quality and marketing teams – overseeing product support and development – to ensure that customers receive the highest quality products possible.

Outside of the workplace, Ryan has an interest in language learning – in particular, Spanish. In 2023 he spent a yearlong sabbatical travelling across Southeast Asia. Since his return, he has turned his interests towards hobby farming and food sustainability and tends a flock of chickens as well as a small allotment.
