Open Day – A great success for Kudos!

Open Day – A great success for Kudos!

On the 2nd of April Kudos opened its doors to suppliers, customers, partners and friends in order to celebrate 15 years in business, as well as the grand reveal of our newly constructed interconnecting build. The day presented a variety of opportunities for visitors to learn more about Kudos Blends. Site and factory tours were held, alongside a series of short talks and demonstrations.

Dinnie Jordan, Managing Director, gave a thought-provoking presentation about the history of Kudos Blends, where it all began and where we are heading in our exciting future to all visitors. She was later joined by Philip Dunne, who has been MP for the area for the last ten years, in giving a speech before the opening plaque for the grand new building was unveiled.

That evening the celebration continued at a local venue, Zanzibarn, where all who attended the events of the day could relax and network in a more social environment. The open bar, live band and stunning décor created a great atmosphere and allowed the visitors to appreciate the effort put in by all the staff in the weeks leading up to the event.

This is the fourth major site advancement for Kudos Blends since the company was set up in 1999, following the progression of in-house manufacturing , the purpose-built offices and development of the technical centre and bakery. The new advancement connects our offices and technical centre to create a more engaging work environment, whilst at the same time providing a purpose-built reception, meeting and training area for our customers. A welcoming view of the new reception area and offices is created by a large glass-fronted exterior, yet another marker of our achievement and constant expansion.

The open day and evening function was the perfect way to say thank you many of the people who have contributed to the success of Kudos Blends and will hopefully be one of many more deserved celebrations in the years to come.
